St Andrew’s Book Festival 2025: London’s Biggest Celebration of Scottish Literature and Culture

London’s Biggest Celebration of Scottish Literature and Culture Returns This November

St Andrew’s Book Festival London is returning in November 2025, bringing the biggest celebration of Scottish literature and culture to the heart of the capital. The five-day event will feature world-famous Scottish authors, poets, and cultural icons across multiple London venues from 26th to 30th November.

Created by Scots in London, the festival highlights Scotland’s literary excellence through a mix of talks, readings, and performances that showcase both legendary and emerging talent. From Val McDermid, Nicola Sturgeon, Sally Magnusson, and Irvine Welsh to debut authors Chris Barkley, Natalie Jayne Clark, and Alessandra Thom, the programme promises a week of inspiration and creativity.

The St Andrew’s Book Festival London 2025 also introduces exciting new partnerships with BookBar as the official bookseller, Auld Hag serving authentic Scottish cuisine, and The London Ceilidh Club hosting traditional dance celebrations. Together, these collaborations ensure a festival that celebrates not just books — but the spirit, culture, and community of Scotland in London.
